A Message from the Chairman of the New Jersey Boys State Foundation

On behalf of the members of our Board of Trustees and the countless other volunteers to the New Jersey Boys State Foundation, I would like to thank you for stopping by our website. My experience as a delegate to American Legion Jersey Boys State in 1999 had a profound and lasting impact on me. Since making the decision to return as a volunteer staff member, it's been my personal mission to make sure the experience I had truly lives on for each and every delegate year after year as "A Week That Shapes the Future!"

Our goal today is the same as when I was elected to the Board of Trustees of this Foundation in 2007: partner with the American Legion Department of New Jersey to offset the rising costs of the ALJBS program and with the goal of one day being able to fund the entire program, in perpetuity. Along the way, our implementation and integration of Technology as well as the Family Day picnic simply add value to the experience for our delegates and their families. 

It is my hope that one day my children and their children will be able to experience Jersey Boys State for all it teaches about civics, politics, government, and leadership at a time of tremendous growth and development in their life.
