About the New Jersey Boys State Foundation

The New Jersey Boys State Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable not-for-profit organization working in partnership with the American Legion Department of New Jersey to help off-set the rising costs of the American Legion Jersey Boys State program. The Foundation seeks to accomplish this goal through Legacy Scholarships, Corporate and Individual donations, and Special Events in addition to enhancing the ALJBS program each year through our talented Technology committee.

The Foundation was independently formed by members of the volunteer staff of ALJBS back in 1999 for the betterment of the program. We seek to continuously improve the top-quality educational experience that ALJBS currently provides for its participants. By continuing to build an endowment for the benefit of the ALJBS program, we seek to enhance the program and its curriculum via technology and keynote speakers, offer scholarships, and support the financial stability of ALJBS for many years to come. In addition to monetary donations, the Foundation accepts in-kind donations of Google Chromebooks and tablets purchased in the last 3-5 years.
